Special delivery from Santa Cruz

Chron Nerds is a Santa Cruz cannabis brand with a live store and a drop cadence. For the Postal series, the studio was asked for a strain label system with one strong idea that could stretch across the whole lineup.

The answer: a full send-up of priority mail. United States Postal Trapper. Tracked, insured, grown in Santa Cruz.

The approach

Ship Different

Every label parodies a postal shipping sticker, from the eagle mark to the barcode, with each strain set in its own display treatment: Postal OG, Z, Cookies, Gelato, Super Glue #4, and Zamn X.

The system carried past the jar into campaign key art, a mailbox menu, and a Ship Different merch tee for the drop.
